The Nashville Opera Association
is a professional opera company in Nashville, Tennessee and is a member of OPERA America. [1] The company currently offers four fully staged opera productions during an annual season at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The 2007-2008 season included productions of Gilbert & Sullivan's HMS Pinafore
, Camille Saint-Saëns' Samson et Dalila
, Verdi's Il Trovatore
and the world premiere of Robert Aldridge's Elmer Gantry
. The 2008-2009 season will include productions Mozart's Don Giovanni
, Sigmund Romberg's The Student Prince
, Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors
