Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet
is a company dedicated to the continued development of dance by providing choreographers a comprehensive environment for creation, and curating work for presentation to a worldwide audience. The company is based on West 26th Street in New York City. Benoit-Swan Pouffer has been artistic director since 2005. The company was named one of Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch" in 2008.
During the summer of 2008, Cedar Lake started project 52, a year-long documentary in 52 one-minute segments. Project 52 focuses on human stories and the intersection of life and dance, with a new segment posted on the company's website each week.
