Palm Springs Chill Wiki Information
The Palm Springs Chill
are an independent baseball team based in Palm Springs, California. They are a member of the Arizona Winter League, a short-season instructional winter league affiliated with the Golden Baseball League. They are co-owned by the Palm Springs Power and play their home games at Palm Springs Stadium, making them the only other team to play their home games at a site other than Yuma, Arizona's Desert Sun Stadium, which plays host to five of the AWL's teams, the host Yuma Scorpions, the Canada Miners, the Saskatchewan Silver Sox, Team Canada and the San Diego Surf Dawgs. The other AWL teams, the Blythe Heat and San Luis Atleticos play their respective home games at Alexander Field in Blythe, California, and Joe Orduno Field in San Luis, Arizona.
They are managed by former Major League Baseball star and original Long Beach Armada skipper Darrell Evans, who also manages the Victoria Seals in the GBL. They are also the only AWL team that has their own official team website, .

Mascot
Tundra
Tundra is the official mascot of the Palm Springs Chill. He is an anthropomorphic blue Yeti who wears a white Chill jersey with the number 99 on the back. He was first introduced on February 1, 2008 in the Chill's first home game. Fred Love is most notable for being Tundra from the begining of the franchise to December 2008. He attended many off season activities in the desert as well as all the games in there first year. In December of 08 he left for the Bowie Baysox in Maryland
