The Army Black Knights represent the United States Military Academy. They are members of NCAA Division I-A, and belong to the Patriot League in all sports except football and hockey. In football, they are a Division I Football Bowl Subdivision independent school.

Longest-running annual international sporting event

Every year, Army faces the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) Paladins in the annual West Point Weekend hockey game. ^[1] This series, conceived in 1923, is the longest running annual international sporting event in the world. ^[2]
