They were originally based out of Atlanta, Georgia before making it to Nashville to do their recording works. Sugarland also had three original members that included Kristian Bush, Jennifer Nettles, and Kristen Hall. Their debut album hit the racks on October 26, 2004 and was an immediate success. This albums success was mainly because of their first hit single track called "Baby Girl." Nettles actually worked with Bon Jovi on the smash number one hit "Who Says You Can't Go Home," following the success of their first album. Once the first album was released Kristen Hall left the band to be a stay at home songwriter. The new duo look for Sugarland released their second CD in 2006 entitled "Enjoy the Ride." This album, like their first, went multi platinum and Sugarland cemented itself in the country music world.

After the success of the second album and once the tour was over, Sugarland headed back to the studio in 2007. The band came up with its third album which was called "Love on the Inside." This CD gave the band its third number #1 with their song "All I want to Do." Sugarland has won many awards during their first few years for being a great country act with moving songs that relate to men and women in Middle America.
