After his stint on "I Spy," Bill Cosby produced one of the greatest children's television shows to ever be aired, "Fat Albert." Cosby's talent protruded into each of the characters as he was the voice of everyone on the show. Later in 1970's, Cosby would team up with Hollywood star Sidney Portier and the team made a collection of comedy films. After the 1970's, Bill Cosby would leave his stand up roots and start to lean more and more toward television.

The introduction of the Cosby show, a sitcom started in 1984, put Bill Cosby's star in orbit. This show became a staple of television programming as re-runs can be found on most television stations to this day. Also, Cosby kept making comedy albums, was a member of a variety of charitable organizations based in children's education, and became the spokesperson for Jell-O and Kodak film. In his later life, Cosby would suffer a major tragedy as his only son Ennis was killed in a car accident. However, Cosby pushed through this emotional period to host a show called, "Kids Say the Darndest Things." In recent years, Cosby has become a leading activist for Civil Rights and remains a staple of the American comedic community.
