Le Reve made its debut in May of 2005 at The Wynn Las Vegas Casino Resort. It was created by Franco Dragone, who has created some of the most innovative performance pieces ever. The performance, which is similar to Cirque du Soleil in its use of acrobatics and circus-type talent, takes place in a 1.1 million gallon pool that is over twenty-six feet deep at its deepest point. This unique performance space sets the stage for a piece that is unlike any other.

This spectacular show is set in an intimate aquatic theatre that brings audience members right up to the action. The closest seats and referred to as the "splash zone" but even if someone does not sit that close, their seats are guaranteed to be no further than forty feet from the stage. Parts of the performance take place in the water, while others take place on lifts that rise as high as fifteen feet above the water.
